Okko The Exiled hits PC on September 30

Developer Frozen Flame Interactive and publisher Eastasiasoft are bringing their 2D action-platformer Okko The Exiled to PC on September 30. The game launches on both Steam and GOG, and a new trailer shows off a few late-game boss encounters.

First announced back in April 2025, the game follows Okko through a demon-filled land called Kutala. The combat relies heavily on juggling enemies. You can launch, stomp, bounce, shoot, and deflect attacks to build combos, and there's a Focus Mode that consumes Heart Energy to break enemy shields for extra damage.

Between stages, players return to a hub area called The Old Throne. It houses a cast of NPC allies who sell items and offer stat upgrades. You can also collect items called Deevols to unlock Underground challenge levels, which look like they lean harder into precision platforming.

The PC release later this month is priced at $14.99 for the standard edition and $19.99 for a deluxe version. If you prefer to play on a television, you'll have to wait a bit longer. Ports for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch are scheduled for early 2027. I'm curious to see how the combo system feels on a standard D-pad compared to a keyboard setup.
