October 25th free games roundup

Four PC games are free to claim and keep across the Epic Games Store, Steam, and itch.io. The lineup spans a 16-player social deduction game, a planetary colony builder, a surreal horror puzzle game, and a quick browser comedy about workplace rage.

Epic Games Store

Mafia Hotel

Mafia Hotel is a 16-player social deduction game where traditional hidden-role voting meets active nighttime survival. Instead of waiting passively for an automated dice roll after dark, targeted players have to physically evade assassins who break into their hotel rooms. Normally priced at $1.99, it's 100% off on the Epic Games Store until November 1, 2026, at 5:02 PM UTC, and I'm curious to see if those real-time room invasions actually fix the frustration of getting eliminated on night one.

Terraspace

Terraspace is an Early Access survival strategy game from developer Black Apple that puts you in charge of extracting resources, managing life support, and terraforming hostile worlds until you can build an escape spacecraft. While Epic regularly runs major weekly giveaways like when the store offered Bloons TD 6 for free, smaller developer-sponsored discounts like this one pop up quietly for much shorter windows. You can grab it for free (down from $6.99) on the Epic Games Store until October 27, 2026, at 8:00 PM UTC.

Steam

Exit Dream

Developed by emagnetic, Exit Dream is a short first-person psychological horror game built around four surreal dream sequences and strange environmental logic. It takes about 15 minutes to finish, skips dialogue entirely, and recently got an update adding a proper save system alongside four Steam achievements ahead of Steam Scream Fest. The game is permanently free to keep on Steam with no expiration date, which makes it an easy recommendation for a quick evening scare.

itch.io

Corporate Crashout

Created by Sebastian Scaini and Del Nordlund, Corporate Crashout is a comedic workplace stealth action game where the entire objective is to trash your desk and rage out without your manager catching you in the act. It's a tiny, self-contained gag that doesn't overstay its welcome. The game runs directly in your web browser on itch.io at no cost and has no expiration window.

The two Epic Games Store promotions are strictly time-limited, with Terraspace returning to full price on October 27, so be sure to claim them before their respective deadlines expire.
