On October 21, Humble Bundle launched its 15th Anniversary Sci-Fi Exposure Bundle, grouping eight PC games worth an estimated $375 in cumulative retail value into a $25 package. When Wolfire Games founders Jeff Rosen and John Graham put together the first Humble Indie Bundle back in 2010 with World of Goo, Aquaria, Gish, Lugaru, and Penumbra: Overture, the pay-what-you-want experiment was mostly about small, DRM-free indie projects. Fifteen years and more than $250 million in charitable contributions later (along with a 2017 acquisition by Ziff Davis), the storefront is celebrating its anniversary by bundling heavy-hitting shooters and tactical strategy games to benefit Charity: water.

The entire promotion splits across three pricing tiers at $10, $15, and $25, delivering every title as an individual Windows PC key for Steam. Those keys do carry an expiration date, and buyers have until May 11, 2027, to redeem them before they vanish into the digital ether. Even if you only care about two of the games on the list, the math works out absurdly well compared to standard storefront sales.

Putting down $10 gets you the entry tier, which opens with Teyon and Nacon's 2023 shooter RoboCop: Rogue City - Collection. Set between the events of RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3, the game brings back original actor Peter Weller to voice Alex Murphy as he patrols Old Detroit, splitting time between heavy gunfights and actual police detective work. Licensed movie tie-ins often warrant skepticism, yet Teyon nailed the clunky weight and satirical bite of the 1980s films better than anyone expected.

That same $10 tier also includes both Ghostrunner (2020) and Ghostrunner 2 (2023) from developer One More Level and publisher 505 Games. They're high-speed cyberpunk action games where a single hit kills you or your target, trading the slow plodding of a metallic police officer for wall-running, grappling hooks, and katana parries up the side of Dharma Tower. The 2023 sequel opens up the level design to include wasteland motorcycle combat and deeper skill trees.

Bumping the price up to the $15 middle tier adds all three entries in Crytek's Crysis Remastered Trilogy: Crysis Remastered, Crysis 2 Remastered, and Crysis 3 Remastered. Co-developed with Saber Interactive and released in October 2021, these updated versions modernize the CryEngine visuals and performance for current hardware while keeping the original campaigns intact. You'll spend the trilogy using nanosuit stealth and armor abilities to fight both private military contractors and the alien Ceph, culminate in a third game centered on uncovering a massive corporate conspiracy inside a overgrown, domed New York City. It's nice to play the original Crysis in 2026 without hearing your PC cooling fans prepare for atmospheric liftoff.

The full $25 tier rounds out the eight-item collection with two vastly different takes on planetary defense and survival: Marathon and Xenonauts 2.

Long before Halo or Destiny existed, Bungie built its reputation on the 1994 Macintosh first-person shooter Marathon and its two sequels, Marathon 2: Durandal and Marathon Infinity. The original trilogy took place aboard the UESC Marathon, a massive colony ship converted out of Mars' moon Deimos and sent to the Tau Ceti system, where players fought off the alien Pfhor while dealing with rampant, philosophical artificial intelligences. Bungie's 2026 revival reimagines that universe as a squad-based PvP extraction shooter set around a colony in crisis at Tau Ceti IV. Getting a 2026 release bundled alongside seven other games for $25 makes it much easier to test the waters, even if trading a weird, terminal-heavy 1990s single-player campaign for multiplayer extraction loops remains a drastic shift.

Sitting alongside Marathon in the top tier is Xenonauts 2, developed by Goldhawk Interactive and published by Hooded Horse. Originally launched into Steam Early Access in July 2023, the game is a direct mechanical successor to the 1990s MicroProse X-COM games. Rather than streamlining the management layers like modern strategy reboots often do, Xenonauts 2 puts you in charge of a multinational military organization during an alternate-timeline Cold War. You have to build radar bases, intercept UFOs in air combat, research recovered alien technology, and direct tense, turn-based squad battles on the ground where poor positioning will get your soldiers wiped out in a single turn.

Every purchase in the bundle supports Charity: water, a non-profit organization that funds clean and safe drinking water projects for communities in developing nations. Getting the full Crysis trilogy, both Ghostrunner games, RoboCop, Xenonauts 2, and Marathon for less than half the price of a single new retail release is an easy pitch, provided you remember to actually activate your Steam keys before the May 2027 deadline rolls around.
