Xbox is getting RV There Yet and four other games next week

Microsoft has outlined the next wave of games coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC between June 29 and July 3. According to the latest Next Week on Xbox post, the lineup leans heavily into indie ports and co-op titles. The summer months are usually quiet for massive blockbuster releases. This leaves room for smaller titles to find an an audience.

Road trips and submarine horrors

RV There Yet? was originally released for PC via Steam on October 21, 2025, and is making its console debut on Xbox Series X/S and PC via the Microsoft Store on June 30, 2026, including Game Pass. It is a road trip simulator where you manage a camper van across changing environments. You have to manage fuel, fix engine leaks, and deal with unpredictable weather. The transition to console controls should work well since driving games naturally map better to a gamepad than a keyboard. The gameplay loop of keeping a decrepit vehicle running while exploring procedural landscapes feels a lot like Jalopy.

Also launching on June 30, 2026, is Murky Divers from developer Embers. This is a cooperative horror game where you pilot a submarine and explore abandoned aquatic labs. It is launching on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but it was first launched in Early Access for PC via Steam in June 2024, followed by a full release in June 2025. The mechanics borrow heavily from Lethal Company. You and your crew have to coordinate navigation, avoid sea monsters, and retrieve bodies from underwater facilities before your oxygen runs out. Embers built a great sense of tension here. The submarine controls are intentionally clunky. You have to rely on your crewmates calling out sonar pings to avoid getting crushed by the pressure or eaten by leviathans. The proximity voice chat makes the inevitable panic attacks hilarious.

Webcomics and room decoration

Deathbulge: Battle of the Bands is coming to consoles (including Xbox) on June 30, 2026, but it originally launched on PC in 2023. This is a turn-based RPG based on the long-running webcomic of the same name. The combat system revolves around music genres and rhythm mechanics. The writing matches the absurd humor of the comic strip. The developer managed to translate the comic's distinct art style into a functional role-playing game. Every character has unique musical attacks. The game even lets you customize the battle theme by swapping out band members. The 2023 PC release flew under the radar for a lot of people.

Momento offers a much quieter alternative. It is coming to Xbox on June 30, 2026, but it is already available on PC via Steam, having been released on June 6, 2026. It is a cozy room-decorator game with a branching narrative. You arrange items in different rooms to uncover the protagonist's life story. The mechanics are very similar to Unpacking. The main difference is that your placement choices actually alter the direction of the narrative. Room decorators have become their own subgenre over the last few years. Momento tries to push the concept forward by tying the room design to the plot. If you place a guitar on the bed, the character might pursue music. If you pack it away in a closet, they abandon the hobby. It adds some replay value to a very relaxed genre.

Another Monopoly variant

Rounding out the June 30 releases is Monopoly: Star Wars Heroes vs. Villains. The digital board game adaptation is scheduled to release on June 30, 2026. Ubisoft has been churning out these branded Monopoly variants for years. This one applies a Star Wars coat of paint to the standard property trading rules. You play as characters from the movies and buy up planets instead of boardwalks. There is not much to say about the core gameplay. It is Monopoly. The main draw is the animated board and the themed tokens. It supports local and online multiplayer.

The June 30 date is doing a lot of heavy lifting for this week's schedule. Five games dropping on a single Tuesday gives Game Pass subscribers and regular buyers plenty of options going into the July holiday weekend.
