Xbox Game Pass just added Ascend to Zero alongside the summer sale

Microsoft's weekly Xbox roundup is here to summarize a few recent drops, including the Italian Exotics update for Forza Horizon 6 and a fresh batch of Game Pass additions. Most of these were previously announced for mid-July, but they are all officially live as of this week.

The Italian Exotics update adds several new cars to the Forza Horizon 6 roster. Players can now grab the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario, the 2022 Lamborghini Huracán Evo Spyder, and the 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5.

New on Game Pass

Game Pass just picked up several indie titles that were scheduled for the middle of the month. Flyway Games' time-manipulation game Ascend to Zero and Undercoders' Denshattack! are now available on both Xbox consoles and PC Game Pass.

The service also added Fogpiercer from Mad Cookies Studio and FixForce from Surgent Studios. The roundup also included another look at Guns of Eschaton, a dark fantasy western shooter that was originally announced at the end of June.

Summer discounts

The Ultimate Game Sale is currently running through July 29. It cuts prices by up to 50 percent on major releases like Ready or Not and Grand Theft Auto V.

My digital backlog is already a complete disaster. Half off makes the guilt of buying yet another game slightly more manageable, though. The sale runs for another week and a half, giving you plenty of time to grab something you will definitely get around to playing eventually.
