PlayStation just dropped the August 2026 lineup for PS Plus Essential subscribers. Starting August 4, members can claim three new games for their digital libraries. The selection covers open-world action, cooperative puzzle solving, and psychological horror.

1. Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition

Techland's open-world zombie sequel is the biggest game on the list. The Reloaded Edition includes the base game and the Bloody Ties story DLC. It also packs in the recent firearms update. If you want to dropkick the undead off a skyscraper, this is your chance.

2. Big Walk

House House gave us Untitled Goose Game back in 2019. Now the Australian studio is back with a cooperative multiplayer adventure. Big Walk focuses on proximity voice chat and puzzle-solving in an open world. The game actually launches globally on August 4. That makes it a day-one release for PS Plus subscribers.

3. Signalis

This is a masterclass in classic survival horror. Developer rose-engine built a retrofuturistic nightmare heavily inspired by the original Resident Evil and Silent Hill games. It has the tight inventory management and deeply unsettling atmosphere you expect from the genre. Highly recommended for playing in the dark.

You have until August 31 to add these to your account. Make sure you grab July's games (including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and CrossCode) before they rotate out on August 3.
