Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds just added the Ninja Turtles
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DLC pack is out now for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, bringing all four turtles and a new sewer track to the arcade racer.
SEGA has released the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pack DLC for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, adding Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo to the crossover arcade racer. The expansion launched across all platforms, including PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
First announced during the Sonic 35th Anniversary livestream in June, the pack includes the four turtles, their iconic Turtle Van, custom karts, custom hoverboards, and six character emotes. It also introduces a dedicated New York City and sewer track featuring Super Fly.

Players can grab the DLC as part of the Season Pass or Digital Deluxe Edition. It is available now via the official CrossWorlds site and digital storefronts for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).
The DLC assigns specific racing classes to each turtle. Leonardo operates as 'The Pack Leader', Raphael is 'The Power Driver', Donatello handles 'The Tech Tuner' role, and Michelangelo rounds out the group as 'The Joy Rider'. Each character has unique stats that interact differently with the game's dimensional shifting mechanics.

The Turtle Van functions as a vehicle option, capable of shunting lighter karts off the track. The custom hoverboards offer tighter cornering, making them ideal for the sharp turns found in the new sewer environments. Players can mix and match these vehicle parts with the existing CrossWorlds garage.
Expanding the dimensional roster
Sonic Team launched Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds in September 2025. Built on Unreal Engine, the game relies heavily on a "Travel Rings" mechanic that warps players into different dimensional layouts mid-race. The turtles join a guest roster that already includes characters from Minecraft, Persona, and SpongeBob SquarePants.
The new New York City and sewer track is a multi-tiered course. Racers start on the city streets before diving into the underground sludge, dodging obstacles and navigating tight corners. The mutant villain Super Fly looms over the course as a dynamic stage hazard. When players hit a Travel Ring on the TMNT track, the environment shifts drastically. The transition from street-level brawling to underground drifting forces racers to adapt their handling on the fly.
Three decades of kart racing
SEGA has a long history with kart racers, dating back to Sonic Drift on the Game Gear in 1994 and Sonic R on the Saturn in 1997. Sumo Digital later modernized the formula with the critically praised Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing in 2010, its 2012 sequel Transformed, and Team Sonic Racing in 2019.
CrossWorlds pushes that arcade racing format further into crossover territory, functioning as a platformer-racer hybrid with ongoing seasonal updates. The game maintains its E for Everyone rating, though the ESRB notes mild fantasy violence (mostly consisting of cartoon turtles throwing items at a blue hedgehog). Donatello can now drift a hoverboard through sewer sludge, and it is exactly as chaotic as it sounds. The launch trailer is up on SEGA's channel.
