September 4th free games roundup
Six free PC games you can claim and keep today across the Epic Games Store, Steam, and itch.io.
I have six free games to claim today across PC storefronts. Let's get right to the list.
Epic Games Store
Beach Invasion 1944 is a fixed-position arcade shooter that puts you behind WWII emplacements like MG42s and Flak 88s to repel waves of enemies. It usually costs $10, but you can claim it for free right now. The offer expires on September 7.
Steam
Epic Idle Quest 2 is a free-to-play dungeon crawler that mixes idle progression with cooperative boss fights. It is completely free to add to your library, and Season 2 kicks off on September 13.
Mags and Body Bags is a new low-poly multiplayer shooter that just launched out of playtesting. It is a permanent free-to-play release without pay-to-win mechanics.
itch.io
TAKEN AS READ is an experimental browser adventure. The narrator describes your surroundings, but those descriptions only become true once you accept them.
A simple turn-based strategy game delivers exactly what the title promises. It is a lightweight tactical game you can download for free.
Very Very RARE is another free indie project available to claim right now.
Make sure you claim the timed offers before they expire. The Epic Games Store giveaway ends on September 7.
