September 11th free games roundup
Three free PC games to claim this weekend, including Astral Ascent and Luftrausers.
There are three excellent free PC games available today, split across the Epic Games Store and Steam. Grab them while you can, because two of them are only available for a few days.
Epic Games Store
Astral Ascent
Hibernian Workshop's 2023 roguelite platformer is a 2D action game with fluid spell-crafting combat and gorgeous pixel art. You can claim it for free on the Epic Games Store until September 17 at 10:00 AM EDT.
Luftrausers
Vlambeer's 2014 arcade dogfighter remains a classic of the indie space, built around momentum-based flight physics and a dynamic soundtrack. It is also free on the Epic Games Store until September 17 at 10:00 AM EDT, continuing the storefront's weekly giveaway rotation.
Steam
A Night At Moka Efti: A Babylon Berlin Story
Developed by Paintbucket Games, this narrative detective adventure lets you explore 1930s Weimar Berlin and investigate a mystery at the Moka Efti nightclub. It launched yesterday as a permanently free game on Steam to coincide with the final season of the television drama.
Remember that the Epic Games Store offers are time-limited, so add them to your account before next Thursday.
