Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus monthly lineup for November, bringing eight free games to today's roundup across console, Steam, and itch.io. Along with the upcoming console additions, five indie projects are ready to claim and play right now on PC.

PlayStation Plus

Before the new rotation goes live next week, PlayStation Plus members have until Monday, November 2 to claim October's outgoing titles (F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2). The next wave balances big-budget action with classic remasters and strategy.

1. Dead Island 2

After spending nearly nine years bouncing between Yager Development and Sumo Digital following its 2014 announcement, Dambuster Studios' first-person zombie action RPG finally arrived in 2023 set in a quarantined Los Angeles dubbed "HELL-A." It's included for PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers on PS5 and PS4 (it's also available for purchase on Xbox and PC). You can add it to your library starting Tuesday, November 3 until the offer expires on Monday, November 30.

2. Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered

Developed by Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics, this collection bundles Core Design's turn-of-the-millennium "Darkness Trilogy" (The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and The Angel of Darkness) with modern control options and an instant toggle for the original polygon visuals. I'm curious to see how newcomers handle The Angel of Darkness even with the updated controls, though having all three classic entries preserved in one package is a great bonus for PS4 and PS5 subscribers. The collection is free to claim with a PlayStation Plus subscription from November 3 through November 30.

3. Monster Train 2

Shiny Shoe's 2025 sequel to its multi-floor roguelite deckbuilder forces angels and demons into a makeshift alliance to defend their Pyre across three vertical train tiers against the Titans who seized Heaven. While the game is also sold on PC, Switch, and Xbox, PlayStation Plus members get the PS5 version as part of their subscription starting next week. The claim window opens on November 3 and wraps up on November 30.

4. Project "Fire"

Built in RPG Maker by developer ElvenNeko, this indie role-playing game follows a fire mage named Alex and his companion Maya across a mix of fantasy, sci-fi, and steampunk settings with turn-based tactical combat. It packs in 42 optional achievements and a surprisingly beefy campaign for a solo project. The game is permanently free to keep on Steam with no expiration date, so you can grab it whenever you have space in your backlog.

Solo developer Ivanvamp took the number-deduction grid of Minesweeper and turned it into a dark fantasy dungeon roguelite where every hidden tile hides equipment, healing items, or monsters of varying strength. Tile numbers show the combined power of adjacent enemies, and you'll lose health in every fight while hunting for the exit portal or building up your attack stat to challenge the dungeon boss. It's completely free on itch.io in your desktop or mobile browser with no expiration date.

6. Kiosk Days

Inspired by classic German corner shops, this pixel-art management sim starts you off with 180 euros and an empty village square storefront that you gradually stock with coffee, newspapers, baked goods, and a hot dog roller. You'll balance daily rent and staff wages against three different wholesalers while dealing with school trips, village fairs, and spoiling food. You can download the Windows executable or play it in your browser for free on itch.io, and the developer has pledged to keep it free permanently.

7. Orebit

Up to four players pilot mining ships fitted with rope-suspended buckets in this chaotic party game, scooping up copper, silver, and gems to haul back to a corner crusher across three-minute shifts. Other players can ram your craft to spill or steal your cargo while EMP storms, rock worms, and pirate drones clutter the procedurally generated caves. It's free right now on itch.io with no account required and no set end date while in active development.

8. Season Runners

Designed around a concept from the developer's 10-year-old son, this arcade platformer changes its entire world, character, and hazards based on the real-world calendar date, serving up a ghost night in October and snow stages in December. The PICO-8 edition packs eight seasonal worlds, 14 drivable vehicles, and a 3D depth toggle into a 128x128 display. Both the downloadable PICO-8 cartridge and offline builds are free to keep on itch.io with no expiration date.

Make sure to grab October's outgoing PlayStation Plus titles before the November 2 cutoff, and check back soon as subscription lineups and store promotions can shift at any time.
