October 20th free games roundup

Today brings three PC games you can grab or play for free across the Epic Games Store and itch.io, ranging from a vertical obstacle platformer to a dark incremental fishing game. Here's where to claim them and when the offers expire.

Epic Games Store

GetHigh.EXE is a first-person 3D parkour platformer from developer Zypong that originally launched in February 2026 and tasks you with climbing a 350-meter vertical obstacle course set in a neon synthwave environment. Normally priced at $1.99 on PC, the game is 100% free to claim and keep on the Epic Games Store as part of a developer giveaway. You have until November 2, 2026 at 16:00 UTC to add it to your library before it returns to its standard price.

itch.io

Die For Loot is a lightweight, browser-based dice puzzle roguelike developed by indie creator ormach. It runs directly on itch.io with multiple difficulty stages, scoring thresholds, and dozens of unlockable items to collect across runs. The game is permanently free to play on itch.io with no expiration date.

TORCHWATER is a browser-based incremental resource-management game from studio CSAF where you run a night-time fire-fishing fleet. Released this month on itch.io, it forces you to balance fuel limits, changing lunar cycles, and morning market prices to keep your boats running. It's free to play directly on itch.io with no end date on its availability.

Promotional store giveaways don't last forever, so make sure to claim the time-limited offers before their deadlines pass.
