Konami dates Silent Hill: Townfall and reveals four new games
The Press Start showcase locked in fall release dates for Silent Hill and Castlevania, plus a 1920s jazz action game called Rhapsody in Scarlet.
Konami locked in fall release dates for two of its biggest upcoming titles during its September 3 Press Start showcase. Silent Hill: Townfall will launch on September 24, followed by Castlevania: Belmont's Curse on October 15. The publisher also used the broadcast to reveal four completely new games, including a 1920s jazz-action hybrid and a deck-building roguelike.
Townfall gets a cast and a date
Silent Hill: Townfall hits PS5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store on September 24, 2026. Writer and director Jon McKellan detailed the game's cast, noting he spotted lead actor Jovan Adepo while watching 3 Body Problem on Netflix. Terry O'Quinn and Kezia Burrows round out the main cast.
The 2D revival Castlevania: Belmont's Curse is targeting October 15 across PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It features key art by Katsuya Terada.
I am here for the jazz combos
Konami announced Rhapsody in Scarlet, a new action property set in 1920s New York. The game mixes prohibition-era aesthetics with magic-fueled combo battles. Co-producer Takanori Murayama brought in jazz artists SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS and Emi Meyer to sync the game's audio rhythm directly with its combat flow. It looks completely unhinged in the best way, and I'm curious how the musical timing actually feels in practice.
The showcase also introduced Rev.NOIR, an action RPG scheduled for 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. Producer Nobuki Kadoi explained the game uses customization systems called Astra Sigils and Kardieos implants. These let players who aren't great at action games build out tactical advantages instead of relying entirely on reflexes.
Building worlds and playing cards
Konami Wai Wai World Craft revives the old crossover franchise as a user-generated content platform. You'll be able to build stages using assets from games like Contra and Castlevania, then share them across PC, mobile, and handhelds.
Project Zircon is a deck-building roguelike with a dual-phase structure split between strategy and administration. It features branching narrative paths and character synergies, and it's up for wishlist on Steam now.
eFootball hits Switch 2
Finally, eFootball is available now on the Nintendo Switch 2. It includes local GameShare play for up to four people. A free update adding Leagues mode won't arrive until autumn 2026, but the base game is ready to play today.
