Sega Amusements just released a soccer-themed arcade redemption machine
Kick N Win takes the mallet-and-ball mechanics of Smash N Win and swaps them for a button-timed soccer challenge.
Sega Amusements International has launched Kick N Win, a new arcade redemption game built by ICE that dispenses mini soccer balls as prizes. It arrives just in time to capitalize on the global soccer fever surrounding this summer's 2026 FIFA World Cup.

It's basically Smash N Win with cleats
The core mechanics build directly on the foundation of Smash N Win, a highly successful redemption game from Innovative Concepts in Entertainment (ICE). ICE has a long history with physical sports arcade games. They are the company behind the Super Chexx bubble hockey tables that have populated ice rinks and bars since the 1980s.
Smash N Win asked players to hit a physical cylinder with a mallet to launch a ball upwards. Kick N Win replaces the vertical launch with a horizontal boot. Instead of swinging a physical mallet, players time a button press to trigger a mechanical kick. The playfield revolves constantly, holding eight mini footballs. If your timing is right, the mechanism boots one of those balls into the center win zone.
Sinking the shot dispenses the actual ball you just kicked. The prizes are bouncy novelty soccer balls decorated with various national flags.
The cabinet surrounds the physical playfield with soccer-themed graphics, dot matrix visuals, and commentator-style voiceovers. Every goal triggers a celebration sequence to draw attention on the arcade floor.
Operator options and hopper extensions
Arcades can configure the machine in a few different ways depending on their local prize laws and business models. The settings include "Win a Ball Only," "Win a Ball or Tickets," "Prize Vend," or "Ticket Redemption-only." The Prize Vend option allows players to keep trying until they win, functioning more like a direct merchandise purchase.
The cabinet holds 56 balls internally. When a player wins one, an auto-replenishing system loads a replacement onto the revolving playfield. This keeps the game looking full without requiring a floor attendant to constantly open the glass. Venue owners who hate refilling machines can also bolt an optional 40-ball hopper extension to the top of the cabinet.
The Kaizen Entertainment era
The Sega logo is on the marquee, but the corporate structure behind it changed a few years ago. In 2021, Sega sold its stake in Sega Amusements International to its management team. That team formed Kaizen Entertainment, which continues to operate the arcade distribution business under the Sega banner through a royalty agreement.
Kick N Win is not the only soccer game hitting arcade floors this season. Sega Amusements is also distributing World Football Pro and Subsoccer Arcade to round out its sports lineup. Subsoccer Arcade is a physical table game where two players sit on opposite ends and kick a ball underneath a transparent tabletop. The goal is clearly to draw in crowds looking for a fresh edge during the summer tournament season.
