Kenshiro is now available in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves
Fist of the North Star's martial arts master joins the SNK fighting game as the final character in Season Pass 2.
Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star is now a playable DLC character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. The crossover fighter is available immediately across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Bringing a post-apocalyptic martial arts master into South Town is absurd in the best way possible. Watching Terry Bogard get hit with a hundred rapid-fire punches feels like a fan-made mugen project, but SNK has made it official. Clayton Alexander provides the English voice work for the character.
"Whoever is next to die, come step forward."
He delivers the requisite battle cries and grim warnings before fights.

Season pass details
Kenshiro is the final addition to the game's second season pass. The $19.99 pack rounds out a roster that includes Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, and Mr. Karate.
Players who do not own the base game yet can pick up the new Legend Edition for $49.99. This digital bundle includes City of the Wolves alongside both the first and second season passes. Season 1 previously added Street Fighter guests Ken and Chun-Li alongside SNK veterans Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, and Mr. Big. Between the two passes, the roster has grown a lot since the initial launch.

Integrating Hokuto Shinken
Kenshiro's toolset adapts his lethal martial arts style into the game's REV System. Players can spend their REV meter to enhance his special moves or cancel attacks into each other. This creates massive combos that end in his familiar pressure-point explosions. The game uses a comic-book aesthetic with heavy shading and stylized text effects. When Kenshiro lands his ultimate moves, massive Japanese kanji appear on screen. It fits perfectly with the established art direction.
Like the rest of the cast, Kenshiro can be played using either of the game's two control schemes. Arcade Style requires traditional technical inputs. Smart Style lets players execute special moves and combos with simple directional inputs and single-button presses. This makes his complex martial arts accessible to players who just want to see the flashy animations without grinding out execution in training mode.
The DLC also integrates directly into the Episodes of South Town single-player mode. This RPG-lite campaign lets players take characters through grid-based maps, fighting opponents under specific conditions to earn experience points and equipable skills. Dropping a guest character into this mode means he gets full progression trees and unique dialogue interactions with the SNK cast. You can take Kenshiro from level one all the way to maximum power.

More fighters on the way
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launched in April 2025, breaking a 26-year gap since Garou: Mark of the Wolves. The fighting game community has kept the player base active, and SNK is maintaining a steady content schedule to match.
The current season is now complete, but the developer is already moving forward. Season 3 begins next month in July 2026. SNK has not announced who will kick off the next wave of characters. We will find out who is next in line for South Town soon enough.
