Octopath Traveler II and Citizen Sleeper 2 headline June's Humble Choice

The June 2026 lineup for Humble Choice is live. The monthly subscription brings eight PC games to members for $14.99. The bundle includes Square Enix's retro-styled RPG Octopath Traveler II, the base-building mech action of The Riftbreaker, and the tabletop-inspired narrative RPG Citizen Sleeper 2. The package also includes five other unnamed indie titles to complete the eight-game roster.

The subscription provides a flat 20 percent discount on other purchases in the Humble store. A portion of the proceeds goes to charity. Five percent of this month's membership fees supports charity.

Octopath Traveler II originally launched in early 2023 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation consoles, and PC. Square Enix refined everything that made the first game interesting and fixed most of its structural problems. The eight main characters actually interact with each other this time around through crossed paths and shared dialogue.

The combat still relies on the excellent break and boost system. Players exploit enemy weaknesses to shatter their shields before spending accumulated boost points for massive damage. The sequel also introduced a day and night cycle that alters towns, changes enemy encounters, and swaps out the path actions characters can use on NPCs. It is a massive 60-hour RPG that usually costs $60 on its own. It is the obvious anchor for this month's collection.

Rolling dice on a stolen ship

Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector continues the tabletop-inspired mechanics of the original 2022 game. Developer Jump Over the Age expanded the scope considerably. Players now have a stolen ship and a crew to manage while trying to survive in a corporate-controlled sci-fi universe.

The core gameplay still revolves around rolling a pool of dice at the start of each cycle and assigning those dice to various tasks to earn money, gather resources, or progress the story. The writing remains incredibly sharp. The constant stress of managing your character's degrading mechanical body keeps the stakes high. The original game was a massive word-of-mouth hit. The sequel builds on that foundation without losing the desperate, scraping-by atmosphere.

Factorio meets Diablo

The Riftbreaker takes a different approach to the survival genre. Exor Studios released the game in 2021. It combines action RPG combat with complex factory building. You pilot a mechanical suit called Mr. Riggs to hack through alien swarms while simultaneously setting up resource pipelines and defensive walls.

The game runs on the studio's custom Schmetterling 2.0 engine. The tech allows for thousands of enemies on screen at once alongside detailed ray-traced shadows and weather effects. It fills a very specific niche for players who want to automate a base but also want to shoot things with a minigun.

The Vault and the fine print

Subscribers also get access to the Humble Vault. This is a rotating library of over 50 DRM-free indie games available through the company's Windows app. The subscription operates on a month-to-month basis. Players can grab this exact lineup and cancel before July if they only want the current games. Humble Choice replaced the old Humble Monthly system a few years ago, shifting away from blind boxes to fully revealed lineups.
