EA Sports FC 26 and RV There Yet? are coming to Game Pass

Microsoft has announced the late-June wave of Xbox Game Pass additions. The lineup brings EA Sports FC 26, the massive co-op hit RV There Yet?, and a handful of other titles to the subscription service over the next few weeks. The official Game Pass update confirms the full schedule, with the first game available today.

They have to balance the hype of new announcements with games you can actually play right now. This batch leans heavily into established hits and co-op chaos.

Free Ultimate Team packs until July

EA Sports FC 26 joins Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on June 18. This is part of the standard EA Play integration, which usually sees the publisher's annual sports titles hit the vault right around the end of the European football season.

Subscribers who log in between June 18 and July 17 get a Supercharge Pack for Ultimate Team. The pack includes Draft Tokens and seasonal Clubs rewards. EA's rebranding away from the FIFA license seems to have settled into a comfortable rhythm. The core gameplay loop remains largely unchanged from previous years. It focuses heavily on the Ultimate Team grind and incremental physics updates. Getting the game into the subscription service now is a reliable way to boost the player base before the inevitable late-summer marketing push for the next entry.

4.5 million copies later, the RV arrives

The biggest surprise of the bunch is RV There Yet?, which lands on console and PC on June 30. The game launched on PC a few months ago as a chaotic co-op adventure about trying to drive a rickety recreational vehicle home.

It exploded on Twitch and YouTube almost immediately. The game sold over 4.5 million copies in its first couple of months on Steam. The gameplay loop forces players to manage the vehicle, deal with hazards, and try not to scream at each other when things go wrong. It requires Game Pass Ultimate or the Premium tier for console multiplayer.

Vanguard, Abyssus, and a 2.5D Metroidvania

The rest of the wave covers a lot of ground. Junkster is available today. It is a 3D action platformer from Stormcloud Games where you play as a construction bot named Um-13 who must repair a ship on a junkyard planet. The game includes a building mechanic that lets you construct bridges and ramps to reach new areas. It launched today across multiple platforms (including PlayStation 5), but Game Pass subscribers get it on day one.

Call of Duty: Vanguard arrives on June 17. Sledgehammer Games originally released the World War II shooter in 2021. The package includes the campaign, standard multiplayer, and a Zombies mode developed by Treyarch. The campaign jumps between different fronts of the war, letting you play as various special forces operatives. It received mixed reviews at launch, mostly due to franchise fatigue, but it is exactly the kind of six-hour spectacle that works perfectly on a subscription service.

On June 25, the co-op roguelite shooter Abyssus joins the library. It drops one to four players into the underwater ruins of a lost civilization with customizable weapons. The developers promise hundreds of potential weapon and skill combinations. Brinepunk is an unusual aesthetic, but the fast-paced shooting looks solid enough to carry a few game nights.

Finally, Winds of Arcana: Ruination hits the service on July 6. Developed by Brewed Games, it is a 2.5D Metroidvania. The developers describe it as being set in the ruined world of Lirna, where players control a mercenary named Aryn who is searching for his lost comrades. The genre is crowded right now, but a day-one Game Pass drop is a great way for an indie developer to find an audience.
