August 31st free games roundup
Four free additions for your library across PlayStation, Steam, itch.io, and iOS.
There are four free titles to claim today across console, PC, and mobile platforms. Let's get straight to the downloads.
PlayStation Plus
Live TV on PS5
Sony launched a new media app for PlayStation 5 owners in the United States today. You can access over 100 free ad-supported television channels directly from the console's Media hub, and the service is permanently free for anyone with an active PlayStation Network login.

Steam
Incel Syndrome
Developer S.O.C.A.H. Released this freeware visual novel about internet culture and conspiracy theories. The narrative follows a character named Sam as he navigates two different timelines, and it's permanently free to add to your Steam library.
itch.io
Day 1 Kingdom Contracts
This browser-based tower defense game strips away the endless grinding in favor of short, five-wave tactical battles. You manage resources and unlock permanent perks across a single screen, and the prototype is permanently free to play on itch.io.
iOS
Super Donut Sprint
Solo developer Torben Filt Slothuus built this fast-paced arcade game about managing a chaotic donut shop conveyor belt. You match glaze colors and add sprinkles before the timer runs out, and it's permanently free to download on the App Store.
A quick note on PAYDAY 3: Starbreeze Studios recently made all paid DLCs free, but the base game still costs money. It isn't included in today's free roundup.
Make sure to claim these soon. While most of these are permanent freeware, digital availability can always change.
