Arc System Works is taking pre-orders for a Guilty Gear Strive skate deck

Arc System Works has opened pre-orders for a two-sided decorative skate deck based on Guilty Gear Strive. The board is available directly through the company's official US store.

Guilty Gear Strive has been a massive commercial success for Arc System Works. It surpassed 2.5 million players and completely revitalized the franchise's competitive scene. The game originally launched in 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. It later expanded to Xbox consoles in 2023 and finally hit the Nintendo Switch in early 2025. The fighting game is built on Unreal Engine 4 and uses a highly stylized cel-shaded rendering technique that mimics traditional 2D anime animation.

The series has always worn its heavy metal, grunge, and punk rock influences on its sleeve. Series creator Daisuke Ishiwatari designs the characters with an excess of belts, zippers, and attitude. That visual identity makes a skate deck a logical extension of the brand's merchandising. It fits right in with the game's rebellious tone.

The board showcases artwork by HNCL. The illustrator is recognized for sharp linework and high-contrast coloring. The deck uses a two-sided print. The top ride side displays the standard Guilty Gear Strive logo in bold typography. The bottom back side is the main attraction. It displays a full high-resolution character illustration.

Arc System Works is selling this strictly as a premium art piece. The package includes no wheels, grip tape, trucks, or mounting hardware. The elongated format of a skateboard deck enhances the sense of scale and motion in the artwork. It frames the illustration for wall display in a gaming room or office.

Fighting game merchandise usually consists of acrylic standees, t-shirts, and custom fight stick art. A full-size wooden skate deck is a much larger logistical undertaking for a publisher's direct-to-consumer shop.

Limit two per order

Buyers can modify the board into a functional skateboard as a DIY project by sourcing and installing their own hardware. This skate deck is so beautiful I think I'd hang it up rather than skate on it. Grinding HNCL's crisp linework across a concrete curb sounds like a terrible way to treat a premium collector's item.

The product images currently shown on the store are digital proofs and prototypes. The final manufactured boards might have slight variations in color, seals, and outer packaging depending on the production run.
