April 5th free games roundup
Evergreen Valley: The Parkour Game

It is Sunday, and that means another batch of free games to add to your ever-expanding digital backlog. I have gathered three titles available today across different platforms. The list ranges from a punishing parkour platformer to a relaxing browser rhythm game, just in case the parkour makes you angry.

1. Epic Games Store: Evergreen Valley

Evergreen Valley: The Parkour Game is a 3D platformer set in a stylized rural town. You climb and balance across suspended obstacles, but falling sends you all the way back to the beginning.

2. Steam: Alien Grounds

Alien Grounds is a sci-fi arena shooter focused on surviving relentless robot hordes. The game is currently in Early Access and will switch to a paid model when it fully launches on April 9. However, I'm not sure I can actually recommend this one. At best it has mixed reviews.

3. Browser: Kaling

Kaling is a browser-based rhythm game built around original kalimba melodies. You tap falling leaf notes in a 3D forest environment to create a calm, healing experience. It runs directly in your web browser with no downloads or accounts required.

I will be back soon with another look at what is available.
