SEGA and Round1 have detailed the full merchandise lineup for their upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration, which hits participating United States venues on October 21 at 10 A.M. PT. The nationwide event features original artwork of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Amy, and Shadow participating in the chain's various amusement activities.

Round1 operates massive entertainment complexes that combine bowling, karaoke, and Japanese arcade cabinets. The company opened its first US location in 2010 and has built a reputation for stocking exclusive import prizes in its claw machines. Sega itself was a dominant arcade manufacturer throughout the 1980s and 1990s, making a massive arcade crossover a natural fit for the publisher's flagship mascot.

The Round1 USA promotion is split into two merchandise drops. Wave 1 begins on October 21, and Wave 2 follows on December 2. The collaboration extends through March 31, 2027, for party bookings, but all physical items are strictly limited to stock on hand.

Twelve coasters and a lot of soda

The food and beverage counter is offering a specialty menu that includes blind-bag character coasters. There are 12 mystery coasters in total, and they are randomly selected and sealed. The cafe will also sell collector's drink cups in two different designs, which come with free unlimited soda refills on the day of purchase.

Booking specific venue activities unlocks different tiers of merchandise. Reserving a bowling package of 90 minutes or longer, booking a karaoke room for 120 minutes, or purchasing a Spo-Cha sports package nets you an exclusive character sticker and access to two designs of promotional playmats.

The crane game exclusives

Loading up on standard game credits is how you get the rest of the physical items. The prize desk will have two new designs for the limited-edition Sonic the Hedgehog Club Cards, which act as the venue's reloadable arcade pass. Other credit-based rewards include exclusive acrylic keychains, a limited-edition blanket, and a five-piece stationery set that bundles a notebook, pen, sticker, correction pen, and ruler.

The arcade floor itself will feature Round1 exclusive Sonic crane items. The venue chain regularly imports high-quality Japanese arcade prizes for its UFO catchers, separating them from standard amusement park plushies. You will have to actually win those yourself, which means the real cost of the plush depends entirely on your claw machine skills.

All promotional items must be redeemed on the same day you purchase your game credits or activity packages. The venue limits offers to one per transaction, and you cannot combine different promos at the counter.
