Falcom's summer T-shirt sale is live with up to 50 percent off
The official FalcomShop is discounting its Ys, Trails, and JDK band apparel through July 26, and direct international shipping is available.
Nihon Falcom has kicked off its summer T-shirt sale on the official FalcomShop. The event started today and runs through July 26, 2026. It drops prices on various game and concert designs by up to 50 percent.
The Tokyo-based studio has been operating since 1981, making it one of the oldest active video game developers in Japan. Masayuki Kato founded the company in Tachikawa. The studio initially focused on the burgeoning Japanese personal computer market. They laid the groundwork for the action RPG genre with PC-88 titles like Dragon Slayer and Ys. Decades later, they built a massive global audience with the intricate, interconnected world-building of the Trails series. Because of that 45-year history, the company has a deep catalog of iconography to pull from for its physical merchandise.
Half off the JDK band shirts
The current lineup includes standard logo shirts for recent releases like The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki, alongside older stock. The real draw for many fans is the apparel dedicated to Falcom Sound Team JDK. The in-house music group is responsible for some of the most recognizable guitar riffs in video game history. They have been performing live concerts for decades, and their tour merchandise frequently makes its way onto the online store.
The sale highlights several JDK concert shirts, including designs from their recent performances. Video game apparel is often a mixed bag of loud, over-branded designs, but concert shirts for an in-house game band hit a different niche. They look like standard rock merchandise to the uninitiated, but act as a highly targeted nod to other people who spent eighty hours grinding levels in Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana.
Falcom is also clearing out inventory from recent industry events. The sale includes the official Tokyo Game Show 2024 shirt, which features a dense collage of character art from across their modern catalog. Buying leftover event merchandise online is a time-honored tradition for fans who cannot justify the flight to Chiba every September. It is a practical way for the studio to clear warehouse space while giving international players access to items that were originally exclusive to the convention floor.
You don't need a proxy service
The FalcomShop offers direct international shipping, as indicated in its usage guide and corroborated by user experiences. Direct overseas delivery is fully supported, and plenty of international buyers have successfully ordered direct in the past. It removes a massive layer of friction for anyone trying to import physical goods.
Sizes can sell out quickly during these events, especially for the older Ys designs that rarely get restocked once the initial production run is gone.
The event concludes at 11:59 PM Japan Standard Time on July 26. Anyone looking to grab a physical piece of Falcom history has a month to browse the catalog before prices return to normal.
